Colada del Cid sword from the 11th century.
The sword is forged and tempered by hand in carbon steel and antique finish in Toledo, Spain.
Wide blade with a channel in the center and with inscriptions on both sides.
On one side it says Yo soy la Tizona del Cid, fue hecha en la era de Mile Cuaranta
On the other side it says Ave Maria gratia plena dominus mecum.
The cross-guard is in iron with the shape of a loop.
Solid round pommel and wooden sword hilt covered in old leather.
Black leather scabbard.
This sword belonged to the Castilian knight Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar known as El Cid Campeador .
